Lao Mountain Coffee
Grown by the same farmers whose land we clear of unexploded ordnance. Every bag funds the next field season. Roughly half our annual budget.
The circle
We clear unexploded ordnance from a coffee garden. The farmer plants new seedlings on land that's now safe. Five years later, the trees yield blood-red cherries — a cash crop, often the family's first. We buy the harvest and sell the roast in America. The proceeds fund the next clearance.
Every order is a small bet on a generation of children growing up in villages where the ground beneath them is no longer dangerous.
